📌 Overview

All domain transactions on Percent Match Auction are securely processed through Escrow.com and are fully compatible with domain transfers/registrations via Percent-Match.com.

This process ensures:

• Secure payment handling
• Verified domain transfers
• Protection for both buyers and sellers
• Compliance with industry and ICANN standards

💰 Transaction Fees & Structure

To maintain a secure and transparent marketplace:

• Seller Responsibility:
  Seller pays all escrow transaction fees charged by escrow.com/domains 
  Seller may check escrow.com/fee-calculator for current fees. (varies with sales price) 
  Seller must transfer domain names to buyer at their registrar after winning auction funds are received in escrow.
• Buyer Responsibility:
  Buyer pays a 2% broker fee, (varies with sales price) which is:
  
  • Automatically added to the transaction
  • Collected and processed through Escrow.com
  • Buyer agrees pay current auction price and have escrow funded within 1 to 5 business days.
• All fees are clearly displayed before payment is submitted

🔐 Escrow Transaction Process

1. Auction closes and buyer wins
2. Transaction is created via Escrow.com
3. Buyer submits payment (including 2% broker fee)
4. Seller transfers the domain
5. Buyer confirms receipt
6. Escrow releases funds (minus fees) to seller

🧾 Seller Instructions (Domains at Percent-Match.com or current registrar)

1. Prepare Your Domain

Log into Percent-Match.com account or your current registrar where your domain name you are selling is registered at and ensure:

• Domain is unlocked
• WHOIS privacy is disabled (if required)
• Domain is eligible for transfer (no 60-day lock)

2. Wait for Escrow Funding

⚠️ Do not transfer the domain until Escrow.com confirms payment is secured.

3. Transfer the Domain

Option A: Internal Push (Recommended)

• Initiate account change within Percent-Match.com
• Possible internal push with buyers and sellers with same registrars.
• Buyer accepts instantly

Option B: External Transfer

• Provide EPP/Auth Code
• Approve transfer request

4. Confirm Transfer

Mark the transfer complete in Escrow.com.

5. Receive Payment

• Escrow deducts applicable fees
• Remaining funds are released to seller

🛒 Buyer Instructions

1. Submit Payment

• Complete payment via Escrow.com
• Includes domain price + 2% broker fee

2. Prepare Registrar Account

• Log into current registrar or create account at Percent-Match.com

3. Receive Domain

Internal Push

• Accept domain instantly

External Transfer

• Enter EPP/Auth Code
• Approve transfer and pay registrar fee

4. Confirm Receipt

• Log into Escrow.com
• Mark domain as received

⚖️ Legal & Compliance Notice

By using Percent Match Auction, users agree:

🔹 Mandatory Escrow Use

All transactions must be completed through Escrow.com.
Off-platform transactions are strictly prohibited.

🔹 Fee Agreement

• Sellers agree to pay all escrow-related transaction fees
• Buyers agree to pay a 2% broker service fee
• Fees are non-refundable once transaction is initiated

🔹 Ownership Warranty

Sellers confirm:

• Full legal ownership of domain
• Authority to transfer
• No infringement on third-party rights

🔹 ICANN Compliance

All transfers follow ICANN rules:

• 60-day transfer restrictions
• Authorization procedures
• Registrant verification

🔹 Transaction Finality

• Transactions are final once buyer confirms receipt
• Disputes handled via Escrow.com

🔹 Limitation of Liability

Percent Match Auction and Percent-Match.com:

• Act as intermediary platforms only
• Are not liable for losses, valuation differences, auction fails or third-party claims

🔹 Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend suspicious accounts
• Request identity verification
• Cancel policy-violating transactions

🔒 Security Best Practices

• Never send payment outside Escrow.com
• Enable 2FA on all accounts
• Verify all communications
